The fall is coming fast, and so it is not too early to consider joining us at the Visit Europe Media Exchange.

The Media Exchange, a presentation of the European Travel Commission, will take place in Toronto on Tuesday, Nov. 4, and will also be held in San Francisco on Oct. 30, and in New York on Nov. 6.

We are already well on the way to another strong year for Canadian travel to Europe. With Canadians making a record 4 million-plus trans-Atlantic trips last year (equal to nearly 13 percent of the population), this market remains Europe’s strongest by many measures.

In looking forward to 2009, the Media Exchange is a unique opportunity for Canadian writers, editors and broadcasters to meet with all of Europe under one roof in one day.

We will again present a program of one-on-one interviews and networking sessions designed to generate hundreds of contacts and story ideas. Countries, cities, regions, attractions—all will be represented by people who understand what you need.
