The Visit Europe Media Exchange is an all-in-one-day, under-one-roof opportunity to meet with dozens of productive travel journalists eager for the latest news on Europe's countries, regions, cities, museums, festivals, attractions and travel products! Where and When: San Francisco, Thursday, Oct. 30; Toronto, Tuesday, Nov. 4; and New York, Thursday, Nov. 6. Presented by: The European Travel Commission, comprising 39 national tourism organizations. Exhibitors will man tables for a day of one-on-one interviews (15 minutes each) and join in open networking sessions that will enable you to: Get out the 2009 News on your destination, attraction or service. Develop new Media Contacts for future communications and messages. Distribute important Releases, Photos, Brochures. Screen journalists for possible future press invitations.
The journalists—all pre-qualified—will include newspaper and magazine editors, staff and contributing writers and photographers, TV and radio broadcasters and producers, freelance travel writers with proven outlets and select Internet travel journalists. Registered exhibitors should browse the VEMEX website to learn which journalists have registered. You can then invite the journalists who interest you most to include your table on their appointment list.
